These Sourdough Discard Cookies are so easy to make and simply delicious. The cookies are loaded with chocolate chips, yet refined sugar free.

These cookies are a great way to use up your sourdough discard. All you need are a few additional ingredients to make these cookies come to life!

Step 1: Add the almond flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt to a large bowl and whisk to combine.

Step 2: Add almond butter, melted ghee, egg, sourdough discard, maple syrup and vanilla. Mix with a stand-mixer for about until everything is combined.

Step 3: Add the dry ingredients to the wet, and gently mix by hand until a dough forms.

Step 4:  Gently fold in the chocolate chips. You will want to reserve some to add on top of the cookies once they are formed.

Step 5: Using a cookie scoop, measure out 12 cookies and place them on your baking sheet. Top with additional chocolate chips and flaky salt.

Step 6: Bake the sourdough discard cookies for 10-12 minutes or until they start to turn golden brown. Allow them to cool for 10 minutes before serving.

Adding sourdough discard to cookies helps make them extra soft and chewy. It's also a great way to use up leftover sourdough discard. Enjoy!
