If you are looking for a dairy-free milk, cashew milk is a wonderful alternative. It’s creamy, easy to make, and you can add additional flavors for variety.

You only need a few pantry staples to make your own homemade cashew milk.  You'll need cashews, dates, vanilla, cinnamon and water.

Step 1: Soak the cashews and medjool dates in hot water for 30 minutes.

Step 2: Drain the cashews and add them to a high-speed blender.

Step 3: Add the dates along with the water they were soaked in, plus an additional filtered water, vanilla extract, cinnamon and a pinch of sea salt to the blender.

Step 4: Blend on high for 30 seconds to 1 minute or until the the milk is smooth and creamy.

Step 5: Store the cashew milk in a glass jar. It will keep in the fridge for 5-7 days. Enjoy!
