You only need a handful of ingredients to make this decadent salmon pasta. Grab some salmon, shallots, butter, cream, white wine, pasta and herbs and you are ready to go!
Step 1: In a saucepan over medium low heat, add the butter and olive oil. Once the butter has melted, add the shallots and cook for 5-7 minutes or until soft.
Step 2: Add flour to the pan, then pour in the wine and bring it to a low boil. Continue stirring. Allow the mixture to cook until the wine reduces by half then add in the cream.
Step 5: Once the pasta is al dente, reserve 1 cup of pasta water, and then drain the pasta; add it directly to the cream sauce along with the parmesan cheese.
Step 6: Gently toss the pasta in the salmon cream sauce, until everything is combined. If your sauce is thick, add some reserved pasta water to the dish and stir to combine.
