This homemade gluten-free lasagna is the perfect meal that the whole family will love. You can mix up the meats, and products you use to meet your dietary requirements.

This gluten-free lasagna is layered with a homemade beef and Italian sausage sauce, and a creamy dairy-free ricotta and herb filling.

Step 1: In a large pan you are going to start making the meat sauce. You can use beef, Italian sausage or even ground chicken or turkey if you like.

Step 2: In a medium bowl add the ricotta, egg, salt, pepper and chopped basil. Stir to combine.

Step 3: Grab your baking dish and start by adding a thin layer of your meat sauce to the bottom of the dish.

Step 4: Place one layer of lasagna noodles over the meat sauce, then spread ⅓ of the ricotta mixture on top of the lasagna noodles.

Step 5: Add add ⅓ of the meat sauce ontop of the ricotta mixture. Repeat with noodle, ricotta, and meat sauce layers two more times.

Step 6: Top with Mozzarella cheese, then cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for 15 minutes or until the cheese is golden brown.
